Why is Samsung LA46A950 turning on & off after firmware upgrade?

I recently purchased the Samsung Lcd La46a950 LCD model and decided to upgrade firmware from samsung website via usb. The update was fine and stated tv would be turning of and on. The tv now will not turn on and do not have a picture. Tv keeps turning on and off on its own non stop. Can someone with more knowledge be able to help?
No TV has no picture, just turns on and off non stop.

You NEVER interrupt a firmware update !

Now....can you AT LEAST turn it on, access the menu and perform the update again???

I sure hope so, because if you can't, you just bought a NEW main board for it.

Let it be known that you don't update the firmware unless you have a problem, and that firmware solves the problem, and that firmware is FOR YOUR TV MODEL.

You don't just update because there's an update....
