Samsung Sch-i730 Review - a Review of the Samsung Sch-i730 Cellular Phone

The Samsung SCH-i730 combines Windows Mobile software with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a fast processor into a small and attractive phone.

The Samsung SCH-i730 is much smaller than typical Windows Mobile-based handhelds. At 0.97” X 2.28” and 6.4 ounces, this cell phone is similar in size to other Windows Mobile-based smart phones, but this cell phone has a touch screen and a full Windows Mobile application compatibility that many other less capable smart phones lack.

The cell phone’s 2.2” touch screen supports 65,000 colors and the large rectangular screen makes web browsing and video watching an extremely fun experience. Further, the Windows Mobile 2003 SE screen-rotation feature lets you easily switch the screen between Landscape and Portrait modes – a very convenient feature indeed!

For its size, the Samsung SCH-i730 is extremely effective at processing data. The cell phone sports a 520MHz Intel PXA272 processor, 64MB of internal RAM, 128MB of flash memory (more than 80MB of which is available for program storage), and an SDIO/MMC expansion slot. The cell phone runs Windows Mobile 2003, which includes many of the same Windows features you would find on your beloved home PC. This version even features Microsoft Excel, as well as the more standard Outlook, Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player and MSN Messenger.

The Samsung SCH-i730 also supports Bluetooth technology, making your life even easier with hands free phone use.
