The Samsung story external hard-drive is telling me that things are too large to put on it.?

I have a samsung story and I just want to use it as another harddrive, however, when i try and drag and drop things onto it, it often tells me the items are too large, yet the hardrive is 1tb capacity.
If anyone else has one, tell me, can it work just like a drag and drop extra harddrive or just like an annoying synch-backup mode?

you have to format your external hard-drive as ntfs.

fat32 file systems does not store files larger than 4 point something gigabytes.

1.don't forget to backup your all data in external hard-drive
2.go to "my computer" right click to your ext-hdd and select "format"
3.chose "ntfs" and start button.
