Need to know if I have to buy a whole new home theater set up.?

My Samsung MTS Stereo TV just gave out (about 10 yrs old), now I need to buy a new TV...? I have a JVC XV-S502 Digital Direct DVD player (about 3-4 yrs old) and a JVC RX 6020V Audio Video Receiver (about 3-4 yrs old). I'm hoping that if I buy a new LCD Flat Panel TV that I don't have to buy all new equipment for HD. Also have an old Bell Expresvu Satellite TV Receiver, so old they don't make them anymore lol. Any TV Techs out there with answers?

You can just replace the TV. It should work with all of the equipment you have. Even the latest TVs still have composite and s-video inputs that you can use.

However, if you get an HDTV, you will not get HD from your satellite receiver--if you want that, call the satellite company and ask about HD service.
