Sony VAIO NW20EF or Samsung R530?

I am going to purchase one of these two laptops within the next few days, which is better.
please dont suggest alternatives because I am purchasing from argos and these are the two that I like.

I know that the samsung has got by far the better spec, but the sony has the name and looks.

So... you are saying that you would rather have a laptop that looks better and has the name Sony on it, than one that will perform better and be more powerful?

If you know that the Samsung has better specifications... what is the problem? Do you want to use the laptop, or do you want to try to impress people with how cool your SONY laptop looks?

If you are more concerned with being superficial, then buy the weaker Sony. Otherwise, if you want the more powerful of the two, buy the Samsung.
