Samsung Home Theater help?

Ok so im looking into buying a Samsung HT-Z522 Home Theater System. I just have a couple quick questions. I have a PS3 and want to hook it up to the home theater so the sound can come out of the surround sound speakers, then i also wanted to hook up the new DVR system (moxi) and my cable up. Does this all have to be done threw the T.V and then hook the tv up to the home theater system or does it have to go threw the home theater and connect to the tv. and what kind of cables do i need also i dont no how many HDMI inputs outputs there are on the home theater but in the event i need more is there anything you can buy to add more?. Thanks in advance.

If the home theater can process both HDMI audio and video you would attach each item into the receiver with HDMI, then run one HDMI from the Home Theater to the tv.

If the home theater can't process the HDMI, then you would run each item into the tv with HDMI for pic, and use optical cables from each item straight into the receiver. Turn off the tv sound. Change inputs on the tv and the receiver as necessary.

Either way, make sure the system you get has enough inputs, either HDMI or optical for your things.
