Samsung Memoir Preloaded widgets?
I'm debating between the G1 and the Memoir... I love the fact that you can add many apps on the G1 but hate the fact that it lacks headphone jack and stereo bluetooth. the memoir seems perfect for what i need it for, but i read that ur limited to the preloaded widgets that come with it.. is it true that u can't add apps other that the ones it comes with? if so where can i find a list of the apps that comes with it. and do i have to have the data package for the apps to work? like weather and gps?
The G1 requires a data plan but the Memoir does not. The G1 has many apps and the Memoir only has preloaded widgets include in the phone. However, there is suppose to be a future update with its own "widget store" to add more onto the phone. You do have to pay extra for GPS and weather. I have the Samsung Memoir and it is great for all of the things that I want in a phone and it has a great camera. I personally do not like the greatly fleshed in keyboard on the G1.
