Which is the better choice? The Samsung Instinct or the Palm Centro?

I'm in college and I want a really cute stylish eye catching phone with great features. I've narrowed down my choices to the samsung instinct and palm centro in pink. I'm a HUGE texter, and I like how both phones have threaded texting. I tried texting on the centro in the sprint store and I was not as fast as I would like to be, but I figure with a little practice I could get faster. I haven't tested the Instinct out yet. I also use mobile web alot (mainly for things like facebook and myspace). I want a phone with alot of cool features( ex- I like the instincts voicemail options.)
I think they are both pretty cute, I LOVE how the centro is pink though, my favorite color!! But the instinct is slimmer, I need something that will fit well in my skinny jeans
What would you recommend? (especially to those of you who have either phone!)

I have a Centro..
It was great at first, but the negatives are..
1) it's big.
2) It ruined my SIM card, so I got no service...
3) The back cover is annoying, it squeeks a lot.
4) It can be slow...

The positives are..
1) Has a lot of memory.
2) Touch screen(:
3) It's a really cool phone!

But I don't recomend it, because when it ruins your SIM card you have to get a totally new one, and you can't text till you do that...
