Will my cell phone number be the same?

Currently, I have a samsung sprint phone that I had for a year and I wanna get a new phone. If I get another phone that's also a samsung sprint, will my phone number be the same and what not?

It depends on the phone plan, Both my parents got new phones and were able to keep their numbers, but my brother couldn't. Its part of and agreement when you get a plan
