Tricky Laptop Wifi Network Problem...?
Okay, I have a Samsung NC10 netbook. I live in a small, two bedroom, one level home. My netbook will not connect to my home wifi in any room other than my living room, in which the modem/router are located. It will not connect in my bedroom, just 15 feet away. Complicating matters, it will connect to my neighbor's unsecured network anywhere in my house. It will also connect to my university's wifi system. A direct, wired connection works fine. I reset all my XP setting to default and restored my XP, but it still will not connect to my home network anywhere other than my living room. Any help?
To add a few details, I have two other laptops, all of which work perfectly throughout the house. It seems as if just my netbook on just my connection will not work unless it is in the same room. Occasioanlly, it will tell me that the network didn't assign an IP or the the network address couldn't be aquired. I've also received a resolving host message a few times.
