Samsung instinct driver installing with issues?

Ok i got the new instinct and i have been trying to install the drivers on my computer but i am having issues with it, after the installation and i open the software manager it says " not connected to the internet" but i do have internet, i have a wireless internet so maybe that might be the issue, does anyone know how to fix this?

Most likely its not your internet, it could be your computer. i try the same thing on my computer, and it gives me the same error message. I called tmobile, and the reason is because my computer isn't equipt with the right software to manage a cellular device.

try a laptop, mine is perfect. i can share internet, and control my phones settings from it, even browse through my pictures and songs..
