Why does my samsung flight turn off on its own?

I just received a new samsung flight today by my insurance company and it turns off on its own every so often.. why is this? and can it be replaced?

It just turns off on its own? Are you sure it goes completely off and is not just going into Powersave Mode? If you just got it from insurance just call back, they'll give you instructions to return it and ship you a new one.
