Samsung DLNA and Mac help please (eyeconnect)?

Hey guys
I have the new samsung led tv with DLNA, with which i can wirelessly stream audio, video and picture from PC to TV. For my Mac, i use eyeconnect that helps me do this. For some reason eyeconnect cant play my mp3s and mp4s eventhough the laptop and tv are connected to each other. It says 'unsupported format' when it clearly is able to play mp3s and mp4s from my PC.
i believe it is some codec issue and would appreciate any help!

It does sound like a codec issue. Just check from the manufacturer what formats your TV, that's the one you wanna play the videos on?, "understands".
You might have to re-code the movies into that specific format. Good programs to use: VisualHub, Handbrake
